King James Shooting Stars for life
Our most famous alumni called themselves " The Fab 5." In fact a documentary called "More than a Game" was released by Lionsgate about their lives on and off the court from the age of 11 through high school. They are: LeBron James 2 time NBA Most Valuable Player and the 2004 NBA Rookie of the Year; Dru Joyce All-Time Assist Leader and 1000+ point scorer at the University of Akron now playing his 4th year in Europe; Romeo Travis University of Akron, All-Time Shot Blocker, 1000+ point scorer, and the 2007 Mid-America Conference Player of the Year, also playing his 4th year in Europe; Willie McGee, Fairmont State University graduate now a grad Assistant at the University of Akron & Sian Cotton - Walsh University.
